The HTC EVO family has just gotten larger – thanks to the introduction of the HTC EVO Design 4G. Making its way to the market via Sprint, this will be the first EVO family member that boasts of World Phone capabilities. Of course, being able to use this phone just about anywhere you go in the world is not the only good thing – as the HTC EVO Design 4G will also come with many other “must-have†features that are found in its predecessors, ranging from Sprint’s 4G connectivity to a generous touchscreen display so that your fingers can dance all over the virtual keyboard with ease, spending more time composing correct text messages than making correction.
The HTC EVO Design 4G comes in a slim, pocket-friendly aluminum unibody design that will not burn a huge hole in your pocket at the end of the day, either, which you can read about after the jump. In between, let us take a look at the kind of specifications that the EVO Design 4G offers, shall we not? With Android 2.3 Gingerbread running right out of the box, you need not mope around the home and wait for a software update to be released by the vendor – perhaps it is forwards compatible with Ice Cream Sandwich, but that is another issue altogether at the moment. A 1.2GHz processor should be able to work just fine, handling all the demanding tasks without missing a beat, while the 4″ qHD resolution capacitive touchscreen display offers a “can do” attitude that will surely be able to charm perhaps even iPhone fans.
